Acne Rosacea

A condition called acne rosacea, a chronic inflammation of the blood vessels in the skin, which
causes a ruddy complexion and small acne-like eruptions on the cheeks, forehead and nose.  Acne
rosacea is a skin condition characterized by reddish discoloration of the facial skin, particularly in
the area of the cheeks, forehead and the nose.  Rosacea is a condition that occurs on the face and
typically in on the cheeks and nose that results in a severe redness of the skin and often resembles
bad acne.

Acne rosacea is characterized by morbidly inflamed skin, typically on the cheeks, forehead, nose,
eyelids and, rarely, on the chest.  It varies from typical acne in that it generally begins affecting
individuals over the age of thirty on cheeks, nose, chin or forehead, but sometimes can occur on
the chest, neck, scalp or ears too.  A healthy lifestyle is also part of the whole acne rosacea
treatment and it can help you maintain remission and avoid the external factors that cause flare ups
or aggravate your skin condition.

- Emotional factors that cause blushing or flushing of the face may trigger acne rosacea.  Effective
relief from the rosacea variety of acne will depend largely on lifestyle changes.  I hope that some
people who are suffering from acne rosacea, if increase the use of water and use jojoba oil instead
of experimenting on new medicated soaps and creams then they might help them with their rosacea
problem.

People suffering from acne rosacea come to realize what aggravates their particular outbreaks and
avoid them, if possible.  The hypertrophy of the sebaceous glands, especially on the nose, leads to
thickening of the skin, increased visibility of the expanded follicles and an enlargement of the nose,
so often associated with acne rosacea.  Since rosacea and acne rosacea symptoms are caused in
part by the dilation or enlargement of tiny blood vessels under the skin's surface, avoiding hot and
spicy foods, alcohol, and hot beverages should become a general rule of thumb in your daily life.

Regardless of the course of treatment you end up choosing to cure your rosacea symptoms, there
are some guidelines you can adhere to in your daily life and skin care regimen that will also help
alleviate your rosacea symptoms.  Acne rosacea is the more severe of the two, and definitely is
more noticeable, as it not only manifests itself in skin redness, but also in acne-like postules that
infect and swell, making the skin bumpy and inflamed.  Acne Rosacea is a skin condition that is
generally restricted to the face and eyes.

Most treatments for acne like benzoyl peroxide have been found to be ineffective on rosacea as
they will not penetrate into the clogged pores and cysts.  A visit to the dermatologist can provide
you with options to help your problem with acne rosacea.  In rosacea, the parasites infest and clog
the follicles and sebaceous glands and this brings bacterial infection and red, inflamed bumps
similar to acne.

In some cases, laser or intense pulsed light therapy are used for acne rosacea treatment, in order
to reduce redness, remove visible blood vessels and correct nose disfigurement.  This holds true
for Rosacea and Acne Rosacea treatments also.  The unproven cause of acne rosacea is
inflammation.

If not treated early, Acne Rosacea will develop into a chronic progressive disease.  Acne Rosacea
is not medically dangerous, but is also incurable.  First I had Acne and now adult acne, what is the
problem with me?

Nobody know what causes it but the list of potential triggers is endless.  In terms of treatment
options, one treatment option is the use of topical products that are applied directly to the skin.  A
critical step in reducing skin sensitivity is understanding the importance of the stratum corneum.
